Repeat after me.......... "Down a band size! Up a cup size!"

The most common bra sizing mistake we see at Isabella Fine Lingerie is women wearing too large of a band size. Do you feel your straps falling off your shoulders? Is your bra band riding up in the back? Guess what? You're wearing the wrong band size! It may be as simple as that.

If you suspect that you are wearing the wrong bra size then try the simple method of going down from your usual band size and go up a cup size. If you normally wear a 34C, simply try a 32D.
The cup size will remain the same, but the bra band will be more snug ( and not move around and feel uncomfortable.)

* T-shirt bra

Be sure to choose one that fits snug around the back and totally covers your entire breast -this way, your everyone will see your t-shirt and NOT your bra! What color/how many? Start with 2 nude, 1 black


* Racerback bra

Gotta get one for those tank tops! While we are so sad that LeMystere discontinued their cotton racerback, we still adore their molded cup style and ......small cups .. rejoice! Huit has an amazing racerback with removeable AIR padding! A great racerback tip ----> we sell a great trick that takes any regular bra and makes it a racerback! What color/how many? 1 Nude should do the trick, unless, you wear a lot of black, then go for 1 black as well!


* Strapless convertible

4. Hollywood Fashion Tape $8



This is a wardrobe MUST. We call this the 'J-LO' tape ( Remember that green loooooow plunging Grammy dress?!) Well, this double sided fashion tape kept her everything in the right place. All night. We love this tape for wrap dresses, straps that are too long, pants that need to be hemmed (we swear). Basically, if you dont want anyone seeing your bra strap in the back, or nosy nellies looking down the front of your dress - this tape is perfecto! We suggest placing the tape on your skin first, then adhering the fabric on to the tape where you want it to stay in place .

Your bra band is riding up the back:
This means your bra band size is TOO LARGE! This is the most common fit issue we see. When a band is too large it rides up, allowing your breasts to sag! Down a band size (or two) and UP a cup size! Tighten up gals!
